Apple, Beetroot & Carrot Smoothie

It is called the A, B, C smoothie wanna know why? Because of the ingredients, apple, beetroot and carrot. Apple brings a refreshing taste, beetroot gives it an earthy, rich, naturally sweet flavor and carrots add that richness in vitamins that are good for your immune system.

Below are simple steps on how to prepare your A,B,C smoothie.

INGREDIENTS

This smoothie is prepared with pure fruit.

    1 medium beetroot(about 10 oz.)
    1 medium carrot (about 2.5 oz)
    1 medium red or green apple (about 8 oz.)
    1 tbsp. honey
    1 cup water

EASY PEASY STEPS:

Step 1: WASH YOUR HANDS

First things first, wash your hands with soap and water, clean hands are safe hands ☺️.

Step 2: WASH THE VEGGIES

Wash the apple, beet, and carrot well, especially the beetroot and carrot to make sure there are no dirt particles.

Step 3: PEAL AND CHOP

  • Peel the beet and carrot. Peel the apple if you prefer.
  • Chop the apple, beet, and carrot into smallish pieces which ensures a smooth texture when you blend.

Step 5: BLEND

Place all of the ingredients into your blender and blend on high for 1 to 3minutes, depending on the power of your blender.

Step 6: HAVE IT YOUR WAY ☺️

  • You can add 1/4 cup of water to your smoothie if it’s too thick.
  • If you prefer your smoothie cold blend with ice cubes .
  • You can add milk or yoghurt to make it tastier.

Step 7: SERVE IMMEDIATELY

The smoothie is best enjoyed immediately. It doesn’t keep well in the refrigerator because the fruits and veggies tend to separate.

  1. That’s nice. I do this with Vivo yoghurt as the base .. It’s natural so it serves the purpose so well.. I add pineapple sometimes too and it’s so yummy..
    one other thing is I do freeze my ingredients overnight and it makes it extra creamy

    I love it.. and because of the beetroot I call it Ladies palava
